This award of excellence was received by Zebra’s Corporate Relations Manager, Erik Davis, during a ceremony at the Omni Charlotte Hotel. “We are honored to have earned this distinction from such a prestigious organization as the AAA. We accept it with great pride.” said Davis in comments after the ceremony.
Zebra is one of only three restaurants in Charlotte, and fourteen in North Carolina, to receive such recognition. For more than 75 years, AAA has employed a comprehensive rating system to evaluate lodging facilities and restaurants for the benefit of its membership. To achieve Diamond status, an organization must pass a series of rigorous, unannounced inspections and adhere to the highest standards of quality and service.

In its twelve year career, the contemporary French Restaurant has represented stability, consistency and excellence. “We have survived September 11th and the worst recession since the Great Depression,” stated Chef/Owner Jim Alexander. “Our success comes from our remarkable customers. They inspire us to reach the pinnacle of fine dining presented with the Southern hospitality they deserve.
