Three weekends. Three kinds of fun.

 

October 12th-13th

Scarecrows, Shopping, and Wine Tasting

Ione’s Harvest Faire includes vendors, scarecrow and pumpkin contest, and chalk the walk. It’s all free and always fun.

At night, shop Sutter Creek for Ladies Night. Visit participating shops and enter the drawing to win. Everyone is welcome and no purchase is necessary

On Sunday, tour Main Street Jackson to see theScarecrows assembled by fifth graders in Amador County and then head out to wineries for wine tasting and fall foliage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

October 18th- 20th

Cowboy Poet, Castle Haunt, and Brew-fest

Friday night, see world-famous Baxter Black, cowboy poet, at Amador County Fairgrounds. Only 500 seats available and all proceeds benefit Amador County Fair. Show starts at 7 pm.

Saturday, visit Amador Flower Farm’s Pumpkin Patch and navigate the corn maze. Ride the free tram around the farm and buy your fall gourds and pumpkins. Check out theScarecrows on Main Street in Jackson.

Sunday, plan to attend Sierra Foothill Harvest Brew-Fest at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort. Craft beers, paired foods, and live music guarantee a good time.

                                                            

                                                                                                             

 

November 9th-11th

Winefest, Chowda Chomp, Veterans Day Parade

Saturday, November 9th, Winefest hosted by Amador Arts, kicks off the holiday season in Downtown Sutter Creek. Sample local wines, while visiting shops decorated for the holiday.

Sunday, November 10th, Second Annual Chowda Chomp in Volcano’s newly refurbished and historic Armory Hall. Local restaurants vie for bragging rights on the best ‘chowda.’ You taste and vote for your favorite.

Live music and vendors outside.

Monday, November 11, Veteran’s Day Parade down Main Street in Jackson. Starts at 11 am and lunch on Main Street is the best way to conclude a three-day weekend.
