The Montague on the Gardens is offering Londoners an Alpine adventure this year with the return of their Montague Ski Lodge from November 19, 2014 through January 30, 2015. The hotel’s outdoor deck will be magically transformed into a mountain ski lodge for the winter season, complete with falling snow, pine trees, snow men, ski racks, reindeer, piste maps and twinkling lights.The Ski Lodge offers a well-stocked bar complete with après-ski favorites including Jägermeister; apple, pear, peach and watermelon Schnapps; sherry trifle; mandarin, candy cane and toffee flavored vodkas; and winter warmers such as mulled wine and spiced cider.
To gain access to the Ski Lodge, guests simply purchase a “ski pass” for $42 that includes a seasonal spread of mini turkey burgers, bratwurst, and deep fried Camembert as well as a choice of three festive drinks from the Ski Lodge bar menu.
Visitors tempted to get a fix of genuine Alpine life should take a Ski Lodge selfie using #SkiMontagueand post it to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Guests are then entered into a prize drawing to win a weekend in Switzerland staying at sister property, Hotel d’Angleterre for three nights, including flights and a day’s ski hire and lift pass.
The Ski Lodge is also open for group bookings and Christmas parties starting from $58 per person with a minimum of 15 people.
Open from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, this is the perfect winter wonderland retreat for après-ski (or après-work) drinks right in the heart of Bloomsbury. To avoid disappointment this Christmas, check availability and book in advance.
Guests staying between December 1 and January 4, 2014 are invited to enjoy the “Montague Ski Lodge” package including two nights’ accommodations in a beautifully-appointed bedroom or suite, a full English breakfast each morning of your stay, and access to the Ski Lodge.
The “Montague Ski Lodge” package starts from $405.00, exclusive of VAT, per room per night based on two adults sharing a Superior Double room.
