Phoenix gears up to host Super Bowl XLIX February 1, 2015. Downtown Phoenix will emerge as Verizon Super Bowl Central (Jan. 28 – Feb. 1) – a dozen city blocks in downtown Phoenix that will be the hub for worldwide media and fan-friendly entertainment.Capitalizing on Phoenix’s sunny weather, Super Bowl Central will feature an outdoor fan campus filled with live music, family-friendly activities, beer and wine gardens, and street-level merchants. The Phoenix Convention Center will house the NFL Experience (the world’s largest interactive football theme park) and Media Center.
