Months before the traditional three-day event “Fasnacht”, a theme is chosen for the costumes, masks and lanterns of the participants. The masked carnival members parade along a set route through the city center, displaying their «sujets», accompanied by the sound of drums, piccolos and «Gugge» music. Watch them this year in Mid-February!
