A Sold Out 2012 Coffee And Tea Festival NYC
Prompts Producers to Secure New Venue for 2013
September 27, 2012 – New York, NY. Starfish Junction Productions, producer of the Coffee and Tea Festival NYC, recently confirmed that a new location has been selected for the upcoming 8th annual Coffee and Tea Festival. The Coffee and Tea Festival: NYC will be held on March 23-24, 2013 at the 69th Regiment Armory located at 68 Lexington Ave. (between 25th and 26th streets), New York, NY 10010. The event is open to the public and the trade. Tickets will be on sale soon. Information about the festival is available at the event website:www.CoffeeAndTeaFestival.com.
“With a sold-out 2012 festival, in both exhibitor space and attendee tickets, we were forced to make a move to a new location in order to take the show to the next level,” said Starfish Junction’s event manager, Kristyn Noren. According to Noren, the 2012 NYC festival broke all show records-the most exhibitors, the most sponsors, and the most attendees. “We’re sorry we had to disappoint so many attendees earlier this year when the show sold out, especially the attendees who have come every year since the 2006” said Noren. “We had more than 5,000 attendees pass through the doors of the show. This new location gives us the space we need to grow plus it is very conveniently located. We’re excited to show off our new venue to coffee and tea lovers in March.”
Plans are well underway for the March 2013 show, branded as a NYC premiere sampling event. “Coffee and tea companies are seeing first-hand the power of sampling. Helping them turn attendees into customers is what we do best,” boasted Noren who is hard at work securing speakers for the educational and entertaining programming offered as part of the festival. Past speakers have covered topics as varied as home roasting; the artistry of afternoon tea; coffee brewing basics; the green teas of China, Korea, and Japan; cooking with coffee & tea; and creating tea-infused cocktails. The 2013 programming lineup will be announced shortly.
The 2013 Coffee and Tea Festival 2013 will be held on Saturday March 23, 2013 and Sunday March 24, 2013 at the 69th Regiment Armory. Tickets are $20 each and include sampling from the international lineup of coffee and tea exhibitors as well as attendance at the classes/seminars/demos. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the festival website:www.CoffeeAndTeaFestival.com starting mid-October. Goodie bags will be distributed to the first 1500 attendees each day.
