BRUSSELS HOSTS THE 3RD DAY OF THE BD
8 and 9 September 2012
The comic feels at home in Brussels and it shows!
Our paper heroes are everywhere: libraries, murals, exhibitions, art galleries, television, even Hollywood fell in love: October 21 took place in Brussels the world premiere adaptation of Tintin in the cinema Steven Spielberg while Smurfs card last summer in the United States. Both of these suites of our comic adaptations are planned for 2013 National.
Day of Comics was created in 2010 by the Brussels-Capital Region as a logical extension of the theme year BD organized in Brussels in 2009.
For the 2012 edition, Brussels will experience a weekend colorful 8 and 9 September, with a brand new comic strip festival on the Place des Palais, but also a show in 3D mapping on Place Royale, the market BD Saint-Gery, the Balloon’s Day Parade, dinner BD MOOF, tours and exhibitions BD within the festival and throughout the city, especially in Brussels Info Place (BIP) and Center for the Belgian strip drawn.
On the occasion of this special weekend, the Place des Palais host museums, exhibitions, publishers, booksellers, shops and book signings, as well as the Comics Festival Saint-Gilles and its price St-Michel.
