For those travelers who only wish to do the cruise portion, Uniworld will offer a cruise-only option for 8 days, Venice & the Po River . Other exciting, new Europe itineraries include Grand Danube & Prague, a 14-night exploring 7 countries, including 5 UNESCO Heritage Sites, and Highlights of Eastern Europe sailing through 5 inspiring countries: Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, and Serbia on an 8-day cruise.Also in 2013, Uniworld will continue its tradition of excellence and leadership on the Douro River in Portugal by introducing its latest luxury build, the Queen Isabel. According to Young, “The Queen Isabel will have a more classic Old World style and elegance similar to Uniworld’s other ships in Europe, which are all uniquely designed and decorated.”
For those wishing to travel to Asia, Uniworld will offer two new luxury ships in China, Century Legend andCentury Paragon, on the Yangtze; and in Vietnam, the new River Orchid on the Mekong. Uniworld’s focus in Asia is on five-star accommodations with superb onshore hotels, including Ritz Carlton and Shangri La properties.
Looking beyond 2013, Uniworld will continue its excellence in uniquely designed boutique river cruise ships with two new state-of-the-art luxury ships. Providing a sneak peek into these two new river cruise ships, theS.S. Alexandra and the S.S. Catherine, set to launch in Spring of 2014, exhibits Uniworld’s continued ability to elevate the standard in luxury river cruising. S.S. Alexandra, the sister ship to the S.S. Antoinette, will sail along the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers; and the S.S Catherine, fashioned after Uniworld’s River Royale, will sail in France. Sharing the same exquisite standards and meticulous attention to detail reflective throughout all of Uniworld’s fleet, these two new ships will be designed with the same elegant flair symbolized by the style used by Mrs. Beatrice Tollman, President and Founder of Red Carnation Hotels, Uniworld’s award-winning sister company, and her daughter Mrs. Antoinette Tollman, godmother, namesake, and lead designer to S.S. Antoinette.
