Saturday Farmers Market features wine sampling and sales

An organic Farmers Market, held on Saturdays from 9am-12pm, opened on July 19th at the enchanting Earthwise Society Organic Farm, across from Centennial Beach at Boundary Bay in Tsawwassen, BC. The market runs on consecutive Saturdays through to September 27th, 2014, and is produced by Farm Fresh Events. This market is one of the first to offer wine tastings and wine sales. TheTsawwassen Saturday Market is held at the Southlands Red Barn, located at 6400 3rd Avenue, Delta BC..

WINE TASTING AND SALES
TSAWWASSEN SATURDAY MARKET is one of the first markets to offer wine tastings and wine sales at their market. Sample offerings from local BC wineries including Backyard Vineyards, Elephant Island Orchard Wines, Lake Breeze Vineyards & Winery and Noble Ridge Estate Winery, with more award winning BC wineries coming on board throughout the summer. Samples are complimentary (at the vendors discretion and ID must be provided) and bottles are sold at winery prices. And bonus – wines are available chilled – so you can enjoy in the appropriate setting immediately.

Stroll through the lovely demonstration gardens and shop the vendor booths and farm store for organic products and produce, local honey, freshly baked breads and pastries, glorious baskets of fresh local fruit, and a rotating selection of local artisans, crafters and entertainment. Put together your own picnic and head off into the farm for a custom feast, or go explore Centennial Beach in Boundary Bay. Some of the vendors include:
