VIP launch of Crocodile Corner at Cornwall’s Crealy

Hi Maralyn,

I would like to invite you to the VIP launch of Crocodile Corner, a brand new reptile house atCornwall’s Crealy Great Adventure Park on Tuesday 26th March at 11am.

Two caiman crocodiles and a 12ft python are among the stars at the attraction, as well as a host of lizards, snakes, beetles, land snails and frogs, totalling around 100 creatures.

This will be the official launch of Crocodile Corner before it opens to the public. You are invited to hear from General Manager Simon Townsend, before taking a tour of the reptile house. A buffet lunch will be available after the main opening and guests are welcome to stay at the park for the remainder of the day.

Event: A chance to experience the Crocodile Corner reptile house before it is open to the public. There will be opportunities for interviews with the General Manager of Cornwall’s Crealy and the Animal Realm Manager and Supervisor. Children are welcome.
Lunch will also be served after the opening.

Cornwall’s Crealy has invested around £50,000 in Crocodile Corner, which is home to over 15 species of reptiles. Alongside the caiman crocodiles are 7-inch-long baby west African dwarf crocodiles; a bosc monitor lizard; poison dart frogs; sun beetles and giant land snails among others.

Notes to editors: Cornwall’s Crealy

Cornwall’s Crealy Great Adventure Park is an award-winning family attraction between Newquay and Wadebridge, North Cornwall. Established in 2004, the park is one of two Crealy Adventure Parks, with the other located in Exeter, Devon.

Aimed at children between from 3 – 13 years, Cornwall’s Crealy was voted the Best Family Attraction in Cornwall in the Primary Times Reader Star Awards 2012.

Each year thousands of visitors flock to the 100 acre site to enjoy thrill rides, indoor and outdoor play areas, farmyard animals, a Pets’ Corner and pony rides. The site also includes 5 star self-catering cottages and a campsite.
