Fayetteville, NC –   The 2012 Carolina Lifestyle Survey conducted by CarolinaLiving.com ranked Fayetteville as the #13 most preferred town in North Carolina.   In 2011, Fayetteville ranked #16.

The Carolina Lifestyle Survey annually surveys 4,000 families planning vacation sites to explore primary and secondary home opportunities.

“It’s no surprise that Fayetteville is climbing on the list,” says John Meroski, Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau(FACVB)  President and CEO.  “We have worked hard over the last decade to bring to market what the consumer is seeking.”

Fayetteville, which celebrated its 250th birthday in 2012, is a three-time winner of the National Civic League’s All-America City award (1985, 2001, 2011).  For the last 10 years, the National Arbor Day Foundation named Fayetteville a “Tree City USA.”
