Grand Chefs Festival Announced at Grand Velas Los Cabos, June 21-25

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (May 23, 2017) — From June 21st – June 25th, the new “Beyond All-Inclusive, Beyond All Compare” Grand Velas Los Cabos invites traveling foodies to join James Beard Award winners, top Food Network chefs, Michelin star recipients and more standout culinary professionals at its Grand Chefs Festival. A nightly highlight of the event is a tasting dinner from a visiting chef paired up with one of the resort’s head restaurant chefs. The epicurean fete also features demos, chef meet-and-greets, master mixology, and more, included for resort guests complimentary in the nightly rate.
Guest chefs participating include Food Network Star season 7 winner, Penny Davidi, Gilles Epie, the youngest chef to ever receive the prestigious Michelin Star; James Beard Award of Excellence Winner and Chopped judge Maneet Chauhan; Food Network Star season 11 winner, Eddie Jackson; Culinary Hall of Famer and Food Network chef Elizabeth Falkner; host of Food Network’s primetime series Kid in a Candy Store, Adam Gertler; winner of Food Network “Chopped” ad Top Chef finalist Katsuji Tanabe; celebrity mixologist Mia Mastroianni of SpikeTV’s Bar Rescue; U.S. Food Chef Ken Barmoski; and Chef Ricardo de la Vega who highlights the best of the new tendencies in high Mexican cuisine at Frida in the Grand Velas Riviera Maya, awarded Four Diamonds by AAA. The host of the event is Juan Licerio Alcala, Executive Chef of Grand Velas Los Cabos and creator of the $25K World’s Most Expensive Taco.
