(CORONADO, CALIF.) — The 1906 Lodge on Coronado Island (San Diego County) has joined the Four Sisters Inns collection, it was announced today by company President Shelley Post.

In June, the 1906 Lodge was named the 2015 Best Boutique Hotel in America — ranked first — by Hotels.com, based on guest review ratings.

Just two blocks from the beach, the 1906 Lodge is also just one block from Coronado’s main street, an easy walk to the town’s shops, restaurants, galleries and cultural attractions. Each of the property’s 17 guest rooms is individually decorated, featuring private entrances, balconies or patios, spa tubs, wet bars and cozy fireplaces. Room rates range from $299 to $629 per night, and include breakfast, secure underground parking and use of the 1906 Lodge’s beach bikes, sand chairs and beach bags. Complete information is on the property’s web page: www.1906Lodge.com.
“Four Sisters Inns celebrates its 40th anniversary this year,” said Post. “Adding the 1906 Lodge to our collection is a perfect way for us to toast that milestone, and we are tremendously excited to introduce it to our loyal guests.”

Incorporated in 1975, the Four Sisters Inns collection is comprised of 17 properties in California. In addition to the 1906 Lodge, the group includes Blue Lantern Inn (Dana Point), Newport Beach Hotel (Newport Beach), Hotel Casa 425 (Claremont), Channel Road Inn (Santa Monica), Gosby House Inn and Green Gables Inn (Pacific Grove), Coachman’s Inn (Carmel-by-the-Sea), West Cliff Inn (Santa Cruz), Washington Square Inn (San Francisco), Blackbird Inn and Milliken Creek Inn and Spa (Napa), Maison Fleurie and Lavender (Yountville), Gaige House (Glen Ellen), Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza (Healdsburg) and Inn at Sonoma (Sonoma).
