HEALDSBURG INN ON THE PLAZA INTRODUCES NEW
‘FINE WINE & FOODIE WALKING TOUR’ PACKAGE

(HEALDSBURG, CALIF.) – Beginning today, the Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza is partnering with Wine Country Walking Tours to offer a new lodging package designed with the epicurean in mind. .
The Healdsburg Fine Wine & Foodie Walking Tour package includes one night at the Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza, and 25 percent off any of the popular Wine Country Walking Tours escorted walks in Healdsburg. Depending on the date of the visit, guests may choose either the company’s New Flavors of Healdsburg Tour (a sampling of the hot spots currently making headlines in the culinary press) or the Healdsburg Wine & Gourmet Food Lovers Tour (an in-depth discovery of the town’s food and wine offerings). Participants are advised to arrive hungry; both four-hour tour options feature plenty of winery tasting room and food purveyor stops, with generous sips and samples. .
Guests also enjoy Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza’s bountiful buffet breakfast, cookies baked fresh daily, plus afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres. Total cost of the package varies according to the date and guestroom selected. .
“There are many good ways to tour the wine country, but when the weather’s gorgeous and everything you want to see and do is so close by, walking is the best way to do it,” said Shelley Post, President of Four Sisters Inns. Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza is part of the Four Sisters Inns Collection. “With an escorted Healdsburg walking tour, you have fun, learn a lot, get some exercise, and have no worries about driving after wine tasting. Your guide escorts you back to the inn.” .
Wine Country Walking Tours’ knowledgeable, friendly guides are local residents, and all have completed Sonoma County’s Certified Tourism Ambassador program. Guides are well-versed in the region’s culinary scene and history. The company’s strong partnerships with area wineries and gourmet food artisans mean Wine Country Walking Tours show guests an insider’s view.  Tours are limited to eight participants, to ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience for all. .
Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza has the best location in town, right on the historic Healdsburg Plaza. When they step outside, guests are surrounded by the galleries, restaurants, boutiques and tasting rooms of this vibrant wine country town. The inn’s 12 spacious guestrooms feature high ceilings, fireplaces, bay windows or balconies, and amenities such as iPod docking stations, flat panel televisions, wireless Internet and DVD players. .
The Four Sisters Inns collection is comprised of 15 properties in California. In addition to the Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza, the group includes Blue Lantern Inn (Dana Point), Newport Beach Hotel (Newport Beach), Hotel Casa 425 (Claremont), Channel Road Inn (Santa Monica), Gosby House Inn and Green Gables Inn (Pacific Grove), West Cliff Inn (Santa Cruz), Washington Square Inn (San Francisco), Blackbird Inn (Napa), Milliken Creek Inn & Spa (Napa), Maison Fleurie and Lavender (Yountville), Inn at Sonoma (Sonoma), Gaige House (Glen Ellen) and Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza (Healdsburg).
