Fashion Tea at Auberge Saint-Antoine Debuts Collections by Longchamps, MYEL and Inukt

Quebec City, January 8, 2015 – Auberge Saint-Antoine’s Fashion Tea will continue in 2015, with the first taking place on Saturday, January 17th at 2:00pm, featuring products showcased by Longchamps by Bagages de France, MYEL and Inukt.

Longchamps by Bagages de France was founded in 1948 and, to date, is still owned and run by the same family. The internationally renowned brand is represented in over 236 stores worldwide, and is a leader in luxury travel articles as well as beautiful handbags, shoe collections and ready-to-wear.

MYEL is a jewelry line designed by Montreal-based Myriam Élie. On a trip to Paris years ago, Myriam’s jewelry was stolen, so she recreated the pieces she lost. From there, her line was born, inspired by her travels, art and culture. Myriam uses only the finest materials including yellow and rose gold, and semi-precious stones.

After having lived abroad for over two decades, Nathalie Benarroch, designer of Inukt, was inspired when she came back home, to create a line of apparel, shoes and accessories that are innately Canadian. Embracing all that the culture has to offer, in particular the First Nations, Inukt uses only local suppliers, including those on reserves such as Wendake. From t-shirts with silkscreens of native headdresses to shoes that are moccasin-inspired with fringe and fur handbags, Inukt truly embraces everything Canadiana.

Also new to the 2015 Fashion Tea series is the option to add on a glass of champagne to the already delicious assortment of sandwiches, scones and pastries.

The Fashion Tea series, now in its second year, had a successful launch in 2014, and showcases up-and-coming and well-known designers. It takes place on the third Saturday of every month until May 16th at the hotel’s Café-Bar Artéfact.
