The Chesterfield Palm Beach Supports Local Charity Through Cookbook Sales
~ Beatrice Tollman’s Cookbook Memoir Donates All Proceeds to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary ~

The Chesterfield Palm Beach is well-known as a pet-friendly hotel. In addition to their affectionate treatment of man’s best friends inside the establishment, they also donate all proceeds of Beatrice Tollman’s cookbook memoir A Life in Food to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital. Beatrice Tollman, President and Founder of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, has published a beautiful cookbook celebrating recipes that have either been passed down the family or discovered while traveling. All the recipes are perfected from her personal experience and expertise in the kitchen, and many can be enjoyed in the award-winning Red Carnation Hotel restaurants.

Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital is a “No Kill” shelter whose mission is to help animals in need. Safe Harbor’s adoption program ensures that each animal in their care receives the best possible medical treatment, love and attention while awaiting their new lives with the special people who adopt them. Safe Harbor’s full-service veterinary hospital is open to the public and is part of the overall charitable organization.
A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, The Chesterfield Palm Beach is honored to be donating the proceeds of Mrs. Tollman’s book to an organization she supports so passionately. A Life in Food is available at all Red Carnation Hotels and by mail order, priced at $45.00. All proceeds from the sales of her cookbook are donated to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary and Hospital in Jupiter, Florida.
The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is also proud to partner with The TreadRight Foundation, the sustainable tourism foundation of parent company The Travel Corporation . The TreadRight Foundation and The Red Carnation Hotel Collection are working together on the Hotel Carbon Management Initiative, an initiative which addresses the inconsistencies in hotel companies’ approaches to reducing their carbon footprint while developing a standard way to communicate this concept.
