An exciting variety of tours, parades and other special events will take place in Gettysburg during the upcoming holiday season.   Every weekend during the season offers festive holiday opportunities and there are also events which will take place daily.   “The holidays are a great time for a visit to Adams County,” said Norris Flowers, president of the Gettysburg Convention & Visitors Bureau. “There are lots of options for visitors choosing to come during the holiday season, including an array of events that run from Thanksgiving weekend through New Year’s Eve.”   There are a variety of tours and events to be held during the 2013 holiday season. Events include:   ·        Candlelight Christmas Tours of the Shriver House Museum will be given Thanksgiving night and Saturday nights through Dec. ·        An Eisenhower Christmas will run from Dec. 1-31 and shows the Eisenhower family home decorated for the holidays. ·        The Sgt.
