FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Valley, Anguilla, October 25, 2017…..The Anguilla Tourist Board today launched a special landing page — Irma.IvisitAnguilla.com — a central space for official updates on the island’s recovery post-Irma. On these pages visitors, trade partners and stakeholders will find the latest information on the status of the island’s resorts, villas, restaurants, utilities, services, and relief efforts.

“We want to get the word out that Anguilla is open for business, and this site provides a wealth of information for those planning to visit Anguilla this winter,” stated Donna Banks, ATB Chairperson. “We do have a variety of great accommodation options for guests to choose from, starting as early as Thanksgiving, and more options will be added as the information is made available to us,” she continued.

The user-friendly site provides up-to-date information on access to Anguilla via air and sea; ground transportation on island; the proposed reopening dates for hotels, villas, apartments, restaurants and attractions; and updates on the restoration of essential services including electricity, telecommunications, banking and medical facilities. Stakeholders who have updates they would like to have included on the site are invited to email the information to the ATB at atbtour@anguilla.net . It will be posted within 24 – 48 hours.

About Anguilla

Tucked away in the northern Caribbean, Anguilla is a shy beauty with a warm smile. A slender length of coral and limestone fringed with green, the island is ringed with 33 beaches, considered by savvy travelers and top travel magazines, to be the most beautiful in the world.

Anguilla lies just off the beaten path, so it has retained a charming character and exclusivity. Yet because it can be conveniently reached from two major gateways: Puerto Rico and St Maarten, and by private air, it’s a hop and a skip away.

Romance? Barefoot elegance? Unfussy chic? And untrammeled bliss?

Anguilla is the answer.
