THE INAUGURAL CLASSIC AUTO SHOW TO SHOWCASE THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST IN AUTOMOTIVE CELEBRITIES
Velocity TV stars to Headline at The Los Angeles Classic Auto Show this January 27-29, 2017

(Los Angeles, CA) – When the first Classic Auto Show drives into Downtown Los Angeles in January, it will be assembling the very best in automotive celebrities along with a unique, unprecedented glimpse at decades of the finest and rarest vehicles that car aficionados have prized over the years.  A major focal point of the show is the Celebrity Theater which will include panels and Q&A’s with some of Velocity Network’s most popular show hosts, alongside highlighted presentations with the Historic Vehicle Association, Casey Annis of Vintage Racecar I Roadcar, and Founding Chairman of the Petersen Automotive Museum and legendary car collector Bruce Meyer.

For three days, they will share a behind the scenes view into the shows with attendees, offer expert motoring and restoration advice, discuss trends and challenges and answer audience questions. Chip Foose
In a relatively short career, Chip Foose has created a legacy of designs and accomplishments well beyond his years. Chip was born and raised in Santa Barbara CA., and automobiles were definitely in the blood. Throughout the course of Chip’s career he has many accomplishments he is proud of that include winning the “Ridler Award” three times, being inducted into the Grand National Roadster Hall Of Fame and working on several T.V. shows including Rides, Overhaulin and American Icon.Dave Kindig
Dave Kindig is the owner and Chief Designer of the custom Fabrication automotive shop, Kindig-It Design located in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Kindig-It Design is a sprawling 27,000 sq. ft. state of the art one stop custom shop where automobiles are rendered, designed, built and restored into spectacular works of art. Dave and his shop became so recognized and respected that the Velocity Network gave Dave and his crew their own Television show, Bitchin Rides.  Debuting in 2014, Bitchin Rides was an instant hit and put Dave Kindig in the upper stratosphere of celebrity auto enthusiasts.Mike Brewer
Mike Brewer is a well-known host of television automobile programs, not to mention a journalist, producer, campaigner, motoring enthusiast and family man. It was his work on Discovery’s flagship show, Wheeler Dealers, that struck the heart and the toolbox of petrolheads all over the world. Mike and the team have made 11 series, 102 episodes, and restored 100 cars for the series. Now broadcast in 217 territories with a global audience of over 200 million, Mike now spends six months of the year filming in America in order to make more episodes for fans to enjoy.Wayne Carini
With a lifetime of experience in automobile restoration under his belt, master car restorer Wayne Carini has a resume that includes body and paint work on rare car collections owned by the likes of David Letterman, tennis great Ivan Lendl, and the duPont family. He is also the host of Chasing Classic Cars on Velocity Network. Wayne owns and operates three companies in Portland, Connecticut: F40 Motorsports specializing in the sale and purchase of vintage and classic automobiles, F40 Restoration, a high-end and exotic automobile collision repair shop, and Carini Carrozzeria, where classics are restored to their former glory.

Chris Jacobs
Chris Jacobs is a host and television personality best known for his automotive makeover show Overhaulin’, which premiered in 2004. He serves as lead host for the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auctions and as co-host on Battle of the Builders, both seen on Velocity Network. He also appears as a co-host for Long Lost Family, which premiered in 2016. A previous host for The Insider and Entertainment Tonight, Chris proved that he could host a variety of shows. He also has experience in radio, serving as a regular co-host for two years on the motorsports show SpeedFreaks.

Mike Phillips
Mike Phillips is the Director of Training at Autogeek.com and the host of the show, Competition Ready which premiered on the Velocity Channel of the Discovery Network in 2016. He is one of the foremost experts globally on auto detailing and paint restoration. With an IDA certification, Mike teaches his Competition Ready three day detailing class at Autogeek’s corporate headquarters in Stuart, Florida several times a year. Competition Ready follows Mike and AJ around the country watching them and their teams preparing some of the world’s most unique and expensive cars for prestigious and ultra-competitive car shows.
