SOUTH BEACH RESORT TO INTEGRATE THE LIFESTYLE

OF A BOUTIQUE HOTEL INTO RESIDENTIAL LIVING

Southwest Las Vegas Residences to

Frame Football-Field-Sized Pool and Park

LAS VEGAS – What’s better than staying at a boutique hotel, where a fun social scene and a striking pool area are just steps away from your room? For many Las Vegans, that answer will soon be South Beach Resort, a boutique residence that aims to make coming home feel like being on luxury vacation.

Located on Russell Road just east of the I-215 Beltway, South Beach will open to residents later this year, offering contemporary design and top-of-the-line interiors and finishes inside and countless community amenities outside. These include the football-field-sized Central Park with a tropical pool and barbecue coves for intimate get-togethers; a 12,000-square-foot Resort Hall that is more like the common area of a fine hotel than a clubhouse, complete with an automated restaurant, wellness and health offerings; and a dynamic lineup of social events.

Set in mirage-like, tropical surroundings, South Beach’s 220 residences embrace a sexy, contemporary art-deco balance between island minimalism and elegance. The one- and two-bedroom units will range from 680 square feet to 1,380 square feet and include state-of-the-art technology throughout, including a smartphone app that will control several features within the home; in addition to state-of-the-art security at the entrance to the complex. Each residence will also have an in-unit safe.

“People come to Las Vegas from all over the country to launch their careers in this exciting, fast-paced city,” said Robert Schulman, co-chairman of Watt SB, LLC. “When you finally have some time away from work, you don’t want to spend every spare minute handling your dry cleaning and laundry, going to the gym, or even going out to meet new people. We’ll handle those things, and so much more, at South Beach Resort. We want our residents to feel like when they come home, it’s their turn to be taken care of; to feel like they’re on vacation.”

“South Beach will be highly social,” says Schulman. “We are giving residents a place to live and play. When you live at South Beach, all of your friends are going to want to come over; they’re going to want to be a part of all the fun; we’re going to have a full line-up of events from group workouts to  wine and craft beer tastings.”

Much of South Beach’s inspiration comes from Schulman’s background in hospitality development, as well as personal experiences at some of the most innovative hotels in the world. These span everything from impeccable, personalized service, which includes referring to residents by name to knowing their individual preferences, to creating signature amenities and an atmosphere that reflect the highest level of luxury.

The Central Park will serve as a social common place for residents and friends, with an outdoor kitchen and bar; two oversized fire pits and climate-controlled misters; a resort-style saltwater swimming pool and spa; a state-of-the-art sound system; lush lounge-style seating, hammocks under the trees and an organic garden. Frequent beach parties will feature DJs, dancing and live entertainment. Activities will range from beach volleyball to movie nights with feature films shown on an oversized screen. The SB Beach and surrounding areas will be shaded by groves of Sumac Trees and highlighted by nearly 500 palm trees, including massive Canary Island date palms, Sago palms and Med Fan palms. Furry friends and their owners will mingle at two dog parks, both equipped with agility equipment and water features. After romping around at the dog park, owners may spoil their pets at South Beach’s rejuvenating pet spa.

The main floor of the luxurious Resort Hall houses the SB Lounge, which flows to a stunning outdoor veranda, in addition to pool tables; a boutique salon and an automated restaurant. The centerpiece is a tranquil vivarium that expresses South Beach’s commitment to sustainability. The second floor is dedicated entirely to health, fitness and wellness, including a full fitness center with a full-size matrix gym including cardio machines and free weights; workouts designed by top fitness experts, exclusive rights to Beach Body products such as P90X and Insanity, and a lineup of innovative spin, yoga, Pilates, circuit training and other classes. Spa offerings will include men’s and women’s lockers with a cool down room, steam and sauna, as well as services such as massages, facials, waxing and more.

Residents will also enjoy a private Mercedes Sprinter bus for transportation to and from a number of local destinations, including Red Rock Canyon, the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas. In all, South Beach will offer more than 150 indoor and outdoor activities that will be curated by the resort’s social and sports directors.
