Pig races, hayrides and corn mazes are just some of the fall family fun that awaits at Schnepf Farms during weekends in October. Voted “Best Fall Family event in the Valley” by Phoenix MagazineNew TimesSunset Magazine and others, this annual Pumpkin and Chili Festival is the perfect weekend activity to ease into the cooler weather in Mesa, Arizona. Before picking from the family farm’s pumpkin patch, be sure to meet the farm animals at the petting zoo, have a thrill on a roller coaster and then snuggle up and get cozy by the bonfire. And, plan to stay for incredible entertainment including the Extreme Canines Stunt Dog Show and Stuntmasters BMX Show.Save room for good ol’ farmhouse cooking with warm chili, sweet roasted corn on the cob and homemade cornbread. The burger shack and farm grill also offer hearty meals to keep everybody satisfied out on the farm. If you have a sweet tooth, head over to the Farm House bakery for fresh cookies, pies and warm cinnamon rolls and don’t forget to check out the s’mores fire pits.

The Schnepf Farms Pumpkin and Chili Festival is open each Thursday through Sunday in October, closing early on Halloween night at 4pm. Tickets are $17 at the gate. Discount Tickets available at all FRY’S Food Stores for $15.
