Dear Friends of The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa,It has been an amazing few months and even though winter had us tightly in its grip, the start of spring was announced in the Cape by wild flowers as far as the eye could see. July’s Mandela Day is always a time for us to ‘give back’, and this year we embarked on an exciting project with our adopted Vukukhanye Primary School in Guguletu, with a promise of a fully functional library and a computer to help enhance learning skills. Thanks to the generosity of a number of our suppliers, monetary contributions from our staff and some personal time, as well as a donation of 1500 books from Cape Town Library, we delivered on our promise. We have also partnered with the Amy Biehl Foundation and its Entrepreneurial Enterprise Skills Development Programme for the hospitality sector by taking on a number of interns for on the job skills training in all our departments.
