March/April 2015

Dear Travel Professional,

Very soon spring will arrive with fresh green leaves on trees and shrubs, and colorful crocuses and daffodils will be in full bloom around the park and gardens of Lichtentaler Allee. It’s a wonderful time to experience the first rays of summer, which are best enjoyed with long walks through our parks and gardens.

A very strong U.S. currency will make 2015 a special year for overseas visitors coming to Europe. As always, Baden-Baden has a full program during the next 10 months. Here are some of the highlights: Visitors from around the world will flock to our three International Horse Races with all the excitement and fun these events are known for, the first one starting on June 3, 2015. The 39th International Oldtimer Meeting with over 350 car models representing nine decenniums in front of the Kurhaus is truly an open-air museum of automobile history. There will also be plenty of opportunity to participate in many of our cultural events at the Festspielhaus and our different museums.

A very special highlight was the grand opening of the luxury spa Villa Stéphanie earlier this year. This new spa is one of Europe’s most unique facilities and is part of the Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa. It offers 12 luxury double rooms and three impressive suites, a 5,400-square-foot sauna, a plunge pool, private gym, hammam, and ladies sauna.

I look forward to your visit and remain with best wishes.
