Hotel Expert Anthony Melchiorri to Inspire Hoteliers During 2015 AAHOA Convention
ATLANTA, December 29, 2014 – The Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) today announced that Anthony Melchiorri, host of Hotel Impossible and a world-renown hospitality expert, will be a featured speaker on April 23, 2015 during AAHOA’s 2015 Convention in Long Beach, Ca.
He is the creator and star of the cable TV series, Hotel Impossible, which is now in its fifth season and helps hotels with major problems from falling into financial and market ruin.
“We find it very fitting to celebrate our 2015 convention by hearing from a dynamic hotel expert who has inspired millions to protect their investment,” said AAHOA Board Chairman Pratik Patel. “Mr. Melchiorri is a force in his own right and his no-nonsense approach will challenge every hotelier to unlock the power of progress.”
Anthony Melchiorri’s unique management style has helped to turn around New York City’s Plaza Hotel, Lucerne Hotel and The Algonquin. He is also responsible for developing the Nickelodeon Hotel and Resort in Orlando, Fl.
He uses his charm and wit to explain that every business needs to run like a first class hotel. Melchiorri has worked for over 25 years in the hotel business and has also served as first vice president of Tishman Hotels and senior vice president of New York Hotel Management Company.
Founded in 1989, AAHOA is the largest hotel owners association in the world, with over 14,000 small business owner-members. AAHOA members own more than 20,000 properties amounting to more than 40 percent of all hotels in the United States and employ nearly 600,000 workers, accounting for over $9.4 billion in payroll annually.
