30A SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL TO MAKE MUSIC ACROSS SOUTH WALTON IN JANUARY 2015;

200 Performances by 150 Artists at 25 Venues Over Three Days

SOUTH WALTON, FL, November 24, 2014 –With a thriving arts scene, low-key, friendly atmosphere and 26 miles of renowned sugar-white sands to boot, it’s no surprise talented musicians like Sheryl Crow, Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, The All-American Rejects’ Tyson Ritter, Holly Williams and Luke Bryan have found their beach in South Walton, FL. Small in size but big on creativity, South Walton’s music scene will rise to a crescendo in 2015 as 150 talented musicians fill the air with original songs and sounds during the sixth annual 30A Songwriters Festival.

 

The January 16 -18 event, to be headlined by legendary singer-songwriter and two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducteeGraham Nash (The Hollies; Crosby, Stills & Nash), and fellow inductee Leon Russell, famous for his session work in the ‘60s (The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Phil Spector) will feature over 200 performances across 25 venues, plus two nights of VIP dinners, across many of the 16 beach neighborhoods in South Walton. Other esteemed artists confirmed include Indigo Girls, Jason Isbell, Shawn Mullins, Sara Watkins (Nickel Creek) and Glen Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket).

 

Sharing a harmonious love for acoustic sounds and heartfelt lyrics, artists will perform a medley of genres spanning country, blues, jazz, Bossa Nova and more at sundry venues ranging from intimate bars to outdoor amphitheaters.  On Saturday and Sunday, local award-winning chefs will prepare four-course 30ASWF Music & Wine Dinners with custom wine pairings by wine expert and former Larder on 30A owner Adam Caperton.

 

Three-day weekend passes are available for a limited time on a first-come, first-served basis for $200 per person. Three-day VIP weekend music and dinner packages are available starting at $400 per person and select VIP weekend touring packages for two or four people are on offer with a host of perks including special credentials and seating, chauffeured car service and more are available for $2,000 and $4,000.
