PIES ‘N’ SIDES RETURNS THIS FESTIVE SEASON TO PROOF AT
FOUR SEASONS RESORT SCOTTSDALE AT TROON NORTH
Order up Holiday Classics “To-Go” to Make Planning Easy

Scottsdale, AZ – Nov. 19, 2014 – The holidays can be a stressful time of year – especially in the kitchen.  Simplify the process, and cut down on prep time, by ordering “Pies ‘n’ Sides” from Proof, an American Canteen, at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North.

“We all crave certain holiday favorites this time of year – fluffy buttermilk mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing and pies fresh from the oven,” says Director of Food & Beverage Bryan Feigenbaum.  “Many people feel so much stress to host a perfect holiday for friends and family. Why not remove some of the pressure and enlist culinary experts to help make the magic happen at the dinner table?”

Savory items include fall-inspired Maple Roasted Autumn Vegetables, Crab Mac ‘n’ Cheese and Green Bean & Crispy Onion Casserole. Dessert items include Bourbon Pecan Pie, Caramel Turtle Cheesecake and Roasted Apple Lattice Pie. The costs range from $13-$20 for sides (serve 4-5 people); and pies for $25 (which are made in glass Pyrex dishes that can go straight from the restaurant to the table).  Every order requires 48 hours advance notice. To order, guests can call (480) 513-5088 beginning Nov. 1, or visit Proof in person to receive a check list and place an order.  Items are available for pick up Nov. 25 to 27, and Dec. 23 to 25.

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale will be decked out in holiday finery, with twinkling lights and the Four Seasons Scottsdale ‘Christmas Giving Tree’ where guests can donate to support the Phoenix charity, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center. Guests can enjoy complimentary hot roasted peanuts in seasonal flavors and steaming apple cider on select weekend evenings throughout the month of December.  A local middle school choir will perform a complimentary holiday performance on Thursday, Dec. 18, while a jazz trio will perform on select Friday evenings during December.

Proof, an American canteen, debuted fall 2012 at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale.  The restaurant presents home-style comfort fare sourced exclusively from the 50 states, and features breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Menu choices include fried green tomatoes, seafood cioppino, and chicken and waffles with bacon and bourbon syrup.  An old fashioned soda fountain serves up nostalgic milkshakes, malts and floats, or guests can order a hand-sliced sandwich or charcuterie board at the counter.  Guests can take in the outdoors from every angle with walls that open to views of Pinnacle Peak and extensive patio dining.  Televisions, games and a bustling bar bring buzzing energy to the restaurant on a nightly basis.
