Luxe Beat Magazine Launches Indiegogo Campaign To Increase Digital Distribution And Journalist Pay

PRLog – Oct. 22, 2014 – RALEIGH, N.C. — Luxe Beat Magazine, the premier monthly publication for all things luxurious, features travel tips, destinations, accommodations, delectable cuisine, wine & spirits and exclusive interviews for its readers worldwide.  Quickly growing in readership, the online magazine is launching a campaign in an effort to raise capital for costs associated with their expansion in several media platforms.

Approaching their one year anniversary, Luxe Beat Magazine (http://www.luxebeatmag.com/)(which started on a shoe-string budget) is now read in over 100 countries and reaches almost 75,000 unique visitors per month. The content-driven publication has assembled an incredible team of journalists from around the world and plans to expand their digital presence to radio, books, video and mobile apps.

“Our editorial team has some of the finest editors and writers around,” states Sherrie Wilkolaski, Editor-in-Chief and Managing Partner. “We need financial support to continue to upgrade our current online platform and develop our digital magazine to be a viable entity, and the major element is better digital distribution into channels like Amazon, App Store and Zinio,” Wilkolaski explained. “We started the magazine with the dream of journalists being able to write without limitations, and with more editorial pages than ads per issue. We’ve spent our time on achieving the right look and feel, improving our editorial calendar and securing quality writers. Now, we need help to make it all happen.”

Philanthropists to artists and technology innovators, Luxe Beat Magazine features interesting people from around the world who are successful in their own space, and making a difference in the communities in which they live. “We are going for stories of interest with a collaboration between our editorial team, writers and readers,” states Maralyn D. Hill, Executive Editor. “The majority of crowdfunding received will go to increasing pay to our journalists, as well as increasing our web presence and digital online magazine distribution.”

There are numerous ways you can support the Luxe Beat Magazine Indiegogo campaign (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/luxe-beat-magazine), whether you choose a “Lifetime Digital Magazine Subscription” or sign up as a “Guest Editor and Columnist,” each contribution will make a significant impact. Advertisers even have an option to take advantage of discounted ad space throughout the fall campaign.
