Wildebeest Migration Made SimplePinpointing the exact time and place to best witness the Great Migration can be challenging. The timing depends on the rains and when the animals begin to move toward the western Serengeti, Tanzania. It’s generally agreed that the best time to see the migration is August through at least October to observe the wildebeest gathering in Kenya’s Masai Mara, before they return to the Serengeti. CLICK HERE for your Migration cheat sheet!
