ENTER THE HOLLAND AMERICA LINE SWEEPSTAKES FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A SEVEN-DAY ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS: AT SEA’ CARIBBEAN CRUISE

Seattle, Wash., June 6, 2013 — Fans looking to get up close and personal with celebrities and professional dancers from the smash ABC television show “Dancing with the Stars” can enter Holland America Line’s online sweepstakes for a chance to win a verandah stateroom for two on the Jan. 12, 2014 “Dancing with the Stars: At Sea” Champions Cruise on ms Nieuw Amsterdam.

To enter the sweepstakes, visitors to Holland America Line’s website (www.hollandamerica.com) simply complete the entry form that will automatically enter them for a chance to win. The deadline to enter is June 10, 2013, and the grand prize winner will be selected on or around June 17. (The sweepstakes is limited to legal residents 18 years of age or older from the United States, District of Columbia and Canada — except Quebec. The complete set of rules is available online with the entry form).

“This cruise is the ultimate experience for any ‘Dancing with the Stars’ fan because it will give guests the opportunity to mingle with celebrities and dancers from the show,” said Richard Meadows, Holland America Line’s executive vice president, marketing, sales and guest programs. “It also will be exciting to see our winning guests take to the stage in the main show lounge and give the pros a run for their money.”

Sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the Champions Cruise on Nieuw Amsterdam will feature 15 winning guests (one from each ship) from the “Dancing with the Stars: At Sea” competitions that are being held on board all 15 ships in the fleet throughout 2013. Guests will be randomly selected from the pool of winners to participate in the “Dancing with the Stars: At Sea” Champions Cruise on Jan. 12, 2014.

On the Champions Cruise, the 15 winning guests and their professional shipboard dance partners will perform in the main show lounge for guests and the celebrities and professional dancers from the television show who will be on board. The winning couple will walk away with the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy and title of Holland America Line’s “Dancing with the Stars: At Sea” Grand Champion.

Events on the theme cruise include dance lessons with the shipboard dance professionals; a chance to meet dance pros and celebrities from the show, ask questions and take photos; a special fashion show with the glamorous show costumes, and a dazzling production starring the celebrities and dance pros, complete with routines from the TV series.
