FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Nitro Circus Comes to Düsseldorf

The MTV hit series’ BMX and skateboard stunt crew takes a leap across the Atlantic for a Europe tour. The November 28 Düsseldorf stop will feature an amazing 35 top athletes and 10 loaded trucks filling Düsseldorf’s ISS DOME, along with oohs and aahs from loads of fans.

Düsseldorf, Germany – The adrenaline-pumping live stunt show that has broken visitor records in the USA, Australia and New Zealand is coming to Düsseldorf’s ISS DOME on November 28 as part of Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus Live’s Europe tour.

Nitro Circus Live is a 2.5-hour choreographed action-sports spectacle on motocross, FMX, BMX, and skateboards. The show is the brainchild of Travis Pastrana, the 17-time medal-winning X-Games legend.  Pastrana will bring his crew from the US to Europe along with some of the most amazing live stunts shown anywhere, including the infamous “Nitro Backflip Combination Train” – synchronous backflips by 10 FMX riders.   In addition, the Nitro crew takes the plunge from the 50-feet ramp in some of the wackiest vehicles, including bobby cars, pedal scooters, shopping carts, tandem cycles and even refrigerators on wheels.

Fans will encounter the same Guinness-world-record-holding crew members they know from the MTV series in the States: extreme bike and base jumper Erik Roner; Jim Dechamp, the first FMX biker to perform a dirt bike front flip; ‘Special Greg,’ after whom the “Special Flip” is named; and Canadian Jolene Van Vugt, one of the world’s best FMX stunt women.  Other performers include extreme wheelchair athlete Aron Fotheringham and several X-Game winners, like Blake ‘Bilko’ Williams, Chad Kagy, Cameron Sinclair, and Andy Buckworth.

Says Pastrana about the upcoming tour: “I’ve never toured Europe before and can’t wait to meet our audiences there.  Nitro Circus is all about pushing the limits – every night – and you’ll never know exactly what to expect.”  Manfred Kirschenstein, Director of Düsseldorf’s ISS DOME, agrees: “These guys really take things to the limit, and the ISS DOME will be just the right setting.”
