John Howie Steak’s Featured September Happy Hour Drink Benefits “Dress for Success”




Bellevue, Washington—John Howie Steak Bar Manager David Chou has designed THE fashion forward cocktail of this fall season as he introduces “8 Seconds on the Runway” – a fun new drink to toast Fashion’s Night Out.   Featured as the Happy Hour spirit for September and priced at $7 ($9 regular price), this stylish libation is made with Canadian Whiskey, Apricot Brandy, lemon juice, ginger beer and a few dashes of peach bitters.  It is a refreshing bit of stone fruit flavors, with the bite of ginger and sweet vanilla notes drawn from 8 Seconds Canadian Whiskey.


For every “8 Seconds on the Runway” sold this month, $1 will be donated to “Dress for Success”, a global organization founded in 1997 in New York City.  This is the second consecutive year that John Howie Steak has promoted a benefit for the organization’s local chapter.  Dress for Success® Seattle was established in 1998 with a grant from the Seattle Chapter of Fashion Group International and in March 2002, the YWCA assumed management. Their mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.
