SHERATON CRESCENT HOTEL NAMES NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF
PHOENIX – (July 17, 2012) – Sheraton Crescent Hotel is pleased to announce that Steven Zimmerman has been named as executive chef for the hotel. Chef Zimmerman is an award winning, classically trained, certified executive chef with more than 21 years of hands-on experience.
With a commitment to using the freshest ingredients, Chef Zimmerman embraces the farm-to- table concept and has a passion for creating high quality, nutritious and exquisite foods. He artfully blends creativity and passion into his culinary creations resulting in delicious masterpieces.
Recognized as a leader in the industry, Chef Zimmerman boasts a particular expertise in menu and recipe development, as well as effective and operational efficiency. Accustomed to delivering the highest levels of customer service, Chef Zimmerman has an exceptionally strong history of improving existing operations. His professional experience has even allowed him the opportunity to earn top honors at numerous culinary shows, as well as the Culinary Olympics in Frankfurt, Germany.
A St. Louis native, Chef Zimmerman joined the Sheraton Crescent Hotel in 2012 after working at several top restaurants and resorts across the US. This will be Zimmerman’s first venture with the Sheraton brand — parent company is Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.’s (NYSE: HOT). He spent most of his culinary venture as the executive chef at the Wyndham Phoenix Hotel and the Lodge of Four Season’s in Lake Ozark, Missouri, which is known for its great culinary legends.
