June 15, 2012 –   Pechanga Resort, known for having one of the largest selections of games anywhere, hosts each one-on-one date from  the provocative and unpredictable new dating series TAKE ME OUT (Thursdays, 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT on FOX). Using Pechanga and nearby Southern California Wine Country as the TAKE ME OUT Resort seen on the show, each date incorporates an exciting activity and a romantic dinner or drinks in a picturesque setting.

TAKE ME OUT, based on the hugely successful international format, is a fast-paced, dynamic new series featuring 30 single women (the “flirty 30”), searching for a match and several brave bachelors who must make the ultimate first impression. Hosted by George Lopez and filmed in front of a studio audience, TAKE ME OUT is comprised of four rounds, beginning with the “flirty 30” in search of a match made in heaven. Every week, the women are introduced to several bachelors one by one. Each woman stands at a lighted podium with a switch that controls her fate for a date: if she thinks it’s a match, she keeps her light on; if her attraction has been short-circuited, then it’s lights out and she waits for the next potential Mr. Right.

“We never knew exactly what would film day-to-day,” explained Pechanga public relations manager Robert Bledsoe, who oversaw the production’s filming needs at the resort. “If all the girls turned their lights off, then the bachelor’s planned date would have to be cancelled. It certainly made for an exciting shoot.”

In the episode that aired last night, June 14, the date featured a poolside massage for couple Alain and Michaela, as well as a romantic dinner at the resort’s premiere dining establishment, The Great Oak Steakhouse.  The second date, with couple John and Samantha, was a fun wine stomp filmed at the nearby Wilson Creek Winery and a private dinner at Mount Palomar Winery.

TAKE ME OUT is already an international hit, with several versions airing across the globe. The unscripted series is produced by FremantleMedia North America, which also produces FOX’s AMERICAN IDOL and THE X FACTOR.

Over the course of the series, several dates in a wide variety of locations have been filmed at the Pechanga Resort, with many more filmed around the local region.

“The Temecula region is unique in its ability to provide so many exciting and relaxing activities in such close proximity,” explained Bledsoe, who added that balloon rides, wineries, horseback riding, water sports, sky diving and even the beach are all within a half hour of Pechanga.

Holding the largest casino in the Western USA, Pechanga Resort offers an all-inclusive AAA Four-Diamond luxury experience. The 445-acre resort includes the top-ranked Journey at Pechanga golf course; a full-service spa; nine award-winning restaurants and a 24-hour food court; superstar concerts in its theater; a comedy club; world title boxing events; and three clubs and lounges, including Silk, the largest nightclub in Southern California.
