SPJ and the Online News Association has an upcoming journalism training workshop in Phoenix.

 

They are presenting JournCamp on Friday, May 18 at the Arizona State University Cronkite School of Journalism in downtown Phoenix.

 

The focus of the day will be skills-based training you and your colleagues can use to help you be a better journalist. You’ll find topics on entrepreneurial journalism; social media as a reporting tool; visual storytelling; copyright law and fair use; using mobile tools; finding public data and posting it online; and more.

Cost:  $20 for SPJ or ONA members / $40 for non-members
